A Taste of the Region

Leighgrove Olives are located in the picturesque country town of Inverleigh, 26km west of Geelong. With an olive grove of over 4500 trees of more than ten different varieties of olive, the cool climate conditions with a long, slow ripening period together with the rich pastoral soils alongside the Barwon River result in oil of particularly deep, full-flavoured characteristics.

The range of flavours and styles of oil make each season's harvest an exciting time at Leighgrove. Annual variations in temperature, rainfall and quantities of fruit harvested make for unique tastes and characters.

Leighgrove Olives offer a complete "olive experience" - the farmgate shop features more than olives and olives oils, with a range of soaps, moisturising creams & balms, baby products, olive-motif fabrics and napkins, tea-towels, market baskets, and gifts. Well worth a visit, and a pleasant country-road diversion on the way to or from the Otways, Great Ocean Road, and other attractions in southwest Victoria.
