Birregurra Estate Olives are set in the picturesque village of Birregurra situated at the feet of the Otway Ranges. There are approximately 3500 Kalamata Olive trees the oldest having been planted in 2000. Being a nurseryman by profession Robin has tended to these trees as if they were his children and of course they capriciously produced 5 tonnes in 2003. Birregurra Estate Olives have created the cultural experience for many people from differing ethnic backgrounds all of whom want to be included in the harvest. These people have forwarded a wealth of information on growing, pruning, and fertilising (not always correct but that‘s half the fun). A lot of forward orders have been received from these people for future years so impressed were they with the grove and the finished Kalamata olive. It’s true - olives have the capacity to transcend all cultures and bring us all together.

Birregurra Estate Olives produces Kalamata Table Fruit which will be available off-farm as well as being sold into local restaurants and deli’s.
